Courses and content

Written text with case vignettes, split into modules. There is no video and no audio requirement, so you can read at whatever pace suits you.

Dr. Joshua E. Shannon writes every course in the catalog himself, drawing on his own clinical practice and supervision experience.

Diagnostic content is written against the current DSM-5-TR text, and regulatory content against Florida Statute 491 and Florida Administrative Code 64B4 as they stand.

These two alternate across renewal cycles. You need one of them in a given biennium, not both. Check which applies to your current cycle.

Buying and access

There is no limit. Access does not expire.

Yes. Add as many as you need to the cart, or buy a bundle, which works out cheaper per hour.

No. Everything in a bundle unlocks immediately and stays available.

Yes. Your course access and your certificates live in your account, so one is created for you at checkout.

See the Refund Policy.

Post-tests and certificates

Eighty percent, on every course.

You can retake the post-test at no additional charge, as many times as you need. Nothing is lost.

No. It is open book and taken on your own.

The moment you pass. It is generated automatically.

The course title, your name, the completion date and the CE hours awarded.

Nothing is lost. Every certificate you have earned stays in your account and can be downloaded again at any time.

Your account

In your profile. It appears on your certificates, so make sure it matches your license exactly.

Use the password reset link on the sign-in page. If that does not resolve it, contact us.

Yes, from your profile.

Requirements

Florida-licensed LMHCs, LMFTs and LCSWs complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years. Which specific hours you owe depends on your licence type and your cycle.

Your certificate is your record of completion. Keep a copy for your own files.

We cannot advise on an individual licence. Contact the Florida Board directly for anything specific to your own renewal.
